When a professional house-sitter discovers eight passports belonging to a woman who is supposedly dead hidden behind a basement panel, the only person she can reach is the dead woman's insufferably methodical older brother — who had no idea his sister was alive, and is now finding out through a complete stranger in his brother's kitchen at eight o'clock on a Tuesday evening.
