What is My One Deadly Night With the Demon about?

Dante works nights. He sees the rot inside people as green smoke before he sees their faces — the worse the sin, the thicker the cloud — and when he takes off his sunglasses, the guilty get shown every single thing they have ever done. • Marco — the brother who pulled the trigger and kept the empire, and the reason there is a countdown at all. His opening position is that a corpse should have had the manners to stay buried, and he holds it with real theatrical relish.
• Sarah — the friend who drags Aria out of the fortress in the first place, hands her a mask, and promises her she can be anyone she likes tonight. She is right, and it is the worst possible night for it.
